Classic Play Games (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website classicplaygames.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use our site and how it is used.

Information We Collect

We do not require user accounts, registration, or personal information to use our games. We collect information in two ways: automatically, through the third-party services described below, and directly from you, when you choose to send us a message.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our site — such as which pages are visited, how long sessions last, and general geographic region. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect this data.

Google AdSense

Our Google AdSense integration is currently disabled while the site is under review. We do not currently display advertisements or enable advertising storage.   • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to your users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Feedback and Messages You Send Us

Our site has two optional forms: the contact form on our About page and the “Was this helpful?” feedback box at the end of each blog post. Both are entirely voluntary — you can use the whole site without ever submitting one.

When you submit either form, we store on our own server:

  • The message you wrote (up to 2,000 characters).
  • The email address you entered, if any. This field is optional and is only used to reply to you. Leave it blank and we have no way to identify you.
  • Which page the message was sent from, and the date and time it was received.

These messages are stored in our own database, not with a third party. We use them only to answer you and to improve the site’s games and articles. We do not use them for advertising, and we do not sell or share them.

Retention. Messages and any email address attached to them are deleted automatically 12 months after they are received. You can ask us to delete yours sooner — see Your Rights below.

Server Logs

Our web server automatically records standard log data, including your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This data is used solely for maintaining and securing the service.

How We Use Information

The data collected is used to:

  • Understand site usage and improve the experience
  • Reply to messages you send us and act on the feedback in them
  • Display advertisements to support the site, if advertising is enabled later
  • Maintain and secure the service

We do not sell, share, or transfer personal information to third parties beyond the services described above.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Google Analytics may set analytics cookies where your choice and applicable requirements allow it. We store your analytics choice in your browser’s local storage so that we can remember it.
